Tony Harrison On Wheel Of Fortune
Tony Harrison, whose episode of Wheel of Fortune recently made it to the air, was asked that very question by a Twitter user. Although he previously appeared on the show back in 2017, Harrison.
Wheel of Fortune saw another impressive performance from a contestant on Monday night, but the player in question had a bit more experience than is usually allowed. Much like Jeopardy!, its syndicated game show sibling Wheel of Fortune only allows contestants to play in their regular games once. Jeopardy!, mind you, allows champions who go on long runs to return for its Tournament of Champions.
Wheel, meanwhile, is a one-and-done deal. Which is why Tony Harrison was a big exception on Monday night’s episode. Harrison appeared on an episode in 2017 and though it’s unclear exactly what happened, everyone was made aware that this wasn’t his first rodeo during player introductions.
“If Tony looks familiar, this is Tony Harrison, who’s been here before,” host Pat Sajak said. “We had a little production issue, and in the interest of fairness, we brought Tony back.”
Wheel of Fortune contestant Tony Harrison is causing a bit of controversy as he appeared on the game show for a second time. The rules are that each contestant is only allowed on the show once, but Tony got a second chance, and won pretty big. “If Tony looks familiar — this is Tony Harrison, who’s been here before,” says host Pat Sajak. Contestant Tony Harrison made a second appearance on Wheel of Fortune Monday night. Even though contestants are allowed to compete only once on the show, the software project manager from Valencia, Calif., got a second chance, and he won big. WHEEL of Fortune fans were outraged after a contestant broke the rules and made a second appearance on show, winning nearly $100K. The show said the reason for Tony Harrison's return was a. According to Yahoo, Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak had a little surprise in store for regular viewers last night. After introducing Harrison, a software project manager from Valencia, California.
Harrison tweeted about his appearance before it aired and seemed very excited to be back.
Tony was asked by a fan why he appeared twice on Twitter, and while he didn’t have a full answer he appreciated the show was upfront with him that he would eventually get another shot.
I really don’t know the answer to that Tony, but the show was great about staying in touch and letting me know that it was just a matter of time.

He certainly took full advantage of that shot, dominating the show and winning more than $100,000 in prizes for the effort, including a nice $45,000 payout for winning in the prize round and a trip to Barbados. Harrison was predictably thrilled, but not everyone was happy that he was given a second shot and won so big.
I’ve never been on Wheel of Fortune once but Tony gets to be on it twice…

If those have a tinge of jealousy to them, well, you’re an astute observer. But not as astute as Tony, who certainly made the most of his second chance on Tuesday.
It’s the Great Outdoors on Wheel of Fortune and we’re posting the Bonus Puzzle with the winner’s final prize amount. By way of comparison, the Jeopardy! payoff is also included with a link to the recap of that game.
Mon 11-27-17 Wheel: $16,815
On Jeopardy: $26,401
Daniel Young added a P and two O’s to the mix and it looked promising but, somehow, he just couldn’t get a handle on it. The $35,000 on the card stayed put.
Tue 11-28-17 Wheel: $19,737
On Jeopardy: $20,799
Phil Bennett filled in 5 letters on his puzzle: one G, two M’s and two I’s. He had the first 3 words figured out but that last one stayed out of reach. Same thing with the $35,000 the card.
Wed 11-29-17 Wheel: $20,800
On Jeopardy: $5,199
Chrystal Davis-Evans added a G and an H to the bonus puzzle, one letter in each word. It wasn’t much help though, when the G can have a soft or hard sound. She missed out on the Jeep Cherokee, but her substantial winnings in the main game were nothing to frown about!
Thu 11-30-17 Wheel: $15,000
On Jeopardy: $15,900
Stephanie Weyant spun the million dollar wheel tonight. She then only added one consonant, a P, to her vowel-laden puzzle. As luck would have it, her vowel pick wasn’t up there either. That still gave her the last word but not the first. She didn’t win the extra $35K on the card. Pat Sajak seemed so relieved that it wasn’t a repeat of the Zucchini Affair, that he almost forgot to show the location of the million dollar wedge.

Fri 12-1-17 Wheel: $25,714
On Jeopardy: $20,200
Tony Harrison got one G and one O from his letter picks but the G was a silent one, so it was actually more of an obstacle than a help to solving this puzzle. Bummer! He missed out on an extra $35K.
